Thoughts On the Treehuggers Mission

September 16th, 2007

Jacques1copyThis week we catch up with environmental geologist and friend of the show Jacques Lord about attitudes toward conservation, recycling, “green building,” and as was the case with our green building series in Seattle, the rise in popularity (and cost-effectiveness) of planned communities which leave a minimal footprint.

We also discuss Jacques’ personal experiences as a field geologist for oil companies in the Middle East, his day-to-day work as an environmental geologist, and our overall hope for a greater embracement of conservation practices beyond the current popularity of green trends.
